The West Asian Pact is an alliance between the nations of Syria, Lebanon, Iraq and Iran who are trying to earn their place in the large family of Comintern-member states by developing their own modern weapons, but still buying most of their equipment from Soviet Union & UASR to wage war with WLA and the Coalition of Arab Monarchies. While consisting primarily of the communist states in the Mideast, the West Asian Pact operates insurgencies throughout the Middle East and North Africa with the help of Revolutionary Vanguard advisors. The West Asian Pact is based on the Arabian Socialist Government created by Tim the Grim Reaper and has been reimagined by Cervantes99.

Background

Units

IconHAF.png
Artachsatra The basic rank and file trooper of the Socialists, the Artachsatra is armed with a standard AVT-38 automatic rifle. They prefer to fire in three shot bursts as opposed to hosing down an enemy. In the close quarters the troopers are armed with retractable spears that extend from their guns which they are trained to use, killing enemy infantry in slightly longer ranges than enemies with swords, and can run to the garrisoned structures and clear them out using these weapons or brace against charging melee enemies to get the first hit in.
IconHAF.png
Mourabitoun Wearing their distinctive red helmets and lizard-pattern uniforms, these Lebanese trained soldiers are the both the anti-armor specialists and minelayers of the Crescent Pact. Cebeci have been armed with scoped SMAWS from the UASR and a supply of Iraqi-made M-06 Pit Viper general ordinance land mines which are effective against both infantry and vehicles.
IconHAF.png
Nineveh Soldier Using MANPADS to shoot down passing aircraft and smgs when pressed by ground targets, Nineveh soldiers can fire direct penetration missiles that can deal increased damage but have a higher chance of missing the target altogether and shout early warnings to their comrades to urge them to duck and cover, letting them survive air attack better.
IconHAF.png
Zunbil Snipers originally trained in Afghanistan, Zunbils make excellent usage out of ramjet assisted "deed" rifles with an incredible range due to the highly straight flight of the bullet. Zunbils have the means to establish fortified dugouts that can't be cleared by normal weapons that they can hide in.
IconHAF.png
Pershmerga Kurdish soldiers who are well known for their fierce bravery, the Peshmerga wear armoured uniforms and have shotguns that fire electrified rounds with underslung burst grenade launchers that they use to charge straight into the thick of battle, obliterating enemies in cover, clearing out buildings, breaking apart formations and generally making a mess of things, and in close quarters are quite skilled with their axes. The Peshmerga can let out a mighty cheer to inspire their comrades to resist suppression and charge forward.
IconHAF.png
Immortal Driving agile bikes around are the immortals, who can harry and raid the enemy with the missiles on their bikes or the cavalry scimitars they make use of to cut down foes already sent into confusion by their missiles, and they can leave "jump" bombs behind that will lie in wait until aircraft pass by before rocketing into the air and exploding in a burst of shrapnel to destroy planes.
IconHAF.png
Megiddans Originally formed by Jewish fighters in Palestine who threw back the hordes of Fuller Meggidans make use of Mortarbikes that relentlessly bombard their enemies with high rate of fire explosives and machine guns to help suppress their foes, and are able to fire de-tox warheads that can clean up an area and put out raging firestorms.
IconHAF.png
Revolutionary Firebrand Clad in distinctive armoured outfits, trained in many languages, armed with deadly tesla weapons and full of revolutionary spirit, the Firebrand inspires the troops to keep going even in the face of impossible odds. Firebrands can also inspire doubt in their enemies and the justness of their cause, causing them to stop firing for a brief while.

Vehicles

IconHAF.png
Sprinter IFV The Sprinter IFV is a fast moving Iranian wheeled vehicle with burst missile launchers that quickly shred apart infantry and light vehicles they target and can fly inside of buildings to clear out garrisons. The Sprinter detects stealth units that it encounters and can launch electrosphere drones to offer extra defence. Allies near it are able to fire more accurately as it shares targetting data and positioning information.
IconHAF.png
Mattock Tank Tanks made by the Iraqis, the Mattock is a fast and maneuverable tank that can smoothly move through the desert and engage enemy armor. Inferior to heavier tanks in firepower and armor but having the benefit of speed, Mattock is easy to produce and armed with powerful 115mm guns, and can outmaneuver and attack an enemy tank's weak spots to win the day. When friendly infantry is nearby, Mattocks boosts their morale, making them less susceptible to suppression and being able to release medical drones to heal allied infantry nearby.
IconHAF.png
Raider APC This Afghan APC is well suited for battle in the desert, the Raider is armed with a 14.5mm gatling gun, a Tesla arc cannon, and a GOOP launcher. It is quick enough to keep up with Mattock tanks and deliver the infantry to the battlefield, though it's not even armored compared to a tank. When destroyed, Raider becomes an immobile bunker, allowing all infantry inside to fire out. This state can't be reversed. The Raider APC augments the speed of allies that are near it with its extra supplies, and it can jam the targetting systems of enemies in a cone, making it far harder for them to make their shots.
IconHAF.png
Hare Tank Hunter Armed with two large missile launchers, Hare is an Iranian made tank destroyer designed to hunt armored targets, quickly get to the flanks and target the weak rear. The design required a large space on the back to house the missiles, making the launchers turn only in 90 degree, making it best when used for flanking engagements. The guided missile it fires always seeks the top armour and pierces through the top before detonating and thus ignores the effects of directional armor, inflicting the same amount of damage no matter where it hits. When ordered, the tank commander can use the supercharger built into the engine to boost the tank's speed for a short time, at the expense of maneuverability. The friendly infantry which will be nearby the tank destroyer can pick up ammunition from spare ammo boxes kept on the hull, increasing their fire rate.
IconHAF.png Grudge AAA Truck Packing a powerful guided burst shell launching rapid fire cannon, the Grudge is a Palestinian armoured eight wheeled truck made to lob explosives with lethal submunitions into the air. The large gun requires to be deployed to fire but when it does, a quick barrage can eradicate an entire squadron of aircraft. Nearby infantry and light-medium vehicles receives bonus to their defense as Grudge drivers always carry some additional sandbags and shovels for making foxholes and can create a dugout for itself and other vehiclels to take shelter in.
IconHAF.png
Retaliation Howitzer A Syrian 180mm self propelled howitzer mounted on a tough and dependable tank chassis to bombard enemy units with burst submunition shells that rain molten steel down on foes from above to smash them into pieces while an eerie red light illuminates the field. As the submunitions are guided like all burst weapons, cover means very little against the shells as the rounds find their targets and kill them. The Retaliation Howitzer can also launch a long range spotting drone to find its own targets, with the stealthed drone locating targets for the vehicle to pulverise. The retaliation howitzer augments the range of friendlies near it as they piggy back off its valuable data.
IconHAF.png
Mehmed Heavy Tank Solely produced by the Crescent Pact and designed by the Turks to follow the lighter tanks and give them support, the Lion is a fast (despite its designation and size) and strong vehicle, able to compete with any MBT on equal terms. To achieve the high speed, armor thickness is lower than expected, utilizing a sloped armor more than current Soviet tanks use to deflect most incoming shots, and return fire on the enemy with a potent 152mm gun. Mehmed tanks can fire off paralytic tesla bolts that stun multiple enemy targets, damaging all of them in the process. It notably trades out the pintle mounted machine gun with a burst missile launcher that lets it fire at even high flying aircraft and tear through infantry. Mehmed heavy tanks offer electrosphere protection to units that are close to the vehicle.
IconHAF.png
Battle Station An interwar superheavy vehicle, the Battle Station uses a fixed; heavy gatling gun to shred infantry, battlesuits, and light vehicles and anti-air/anti-tank missiles to supplement the firepower of four multigunner batteries that activate when the vehicle is garrisonned, and its heavy armour is virtually impervious to lighter, punier vehicles. The Battle Station heals allied vehicles around it with repair drones flying around it, and can activate a large area of effect electrosphere to protect allies around it as it pushes forward.

Economic Units

IconHAF.png
Bogatyr Heavy-Duty Truck Large trucks built for the Middle East's environment and are used for carrying supplies and ore. The large flatbed and strong engine enables to carry more cargo than other trucks, if at slightly slower pace, but raiders will be met with a burst mortar that will mercilessly hunt enemies to protect it from any attack by the WLA or Alliance. When the commander has more trucks than he needs for transporting ore, the soldiers can load them up with crates with all sorts of ammunition, spare parts, fuel tanks which would be invaluable on the battlefield.
IconHAF.png
Damascus Engineering Vehicle The primary form of engineer for the Crescent Pact, the Damascus Engineering Vehicle carries its engineering drones to the front in a tough armoured vehicle with a trio of spider like legs emerging from the top to manipulate the world around it, picking things up, dealing with explosives and traps that it manages to detect, and also having use as a weapon if confronted. The Damascus Can also drag back disabled vehicles to be repaired and recovered.

Aircraft

IconHAF.png
Chaser Scout Helicopter A modification of the reliable Chaser Scout Helicopter, the Pact Chaser focuses its armament entirely on the rocket pods, fitting burst munitions for maximum effect while the aircraft is able to release long lasting kamikaze drone mines that will seek out enemy aircraft and smash into them for fatal results upon enemy aircraft entering their detection range.
IconHAF.png
Fink Fighter A Kurdish designed aircraft that dances through the skies with grace and speed, the Mink is made for boom and zoom and BVR combat, disregarding turning fights and simply releasing its missiles and then buzzing the enemy with burst rockets before shooting off for another go later on. The Mink Fighter can also pull a stunt over allies that impresses them enough to improve their morale.
IconHAF.png
Mustelid Bomber The preferred tactical bomber and attack plane of the Pact, the Mustelid is fast and hits hard with burst bombs that can clear out wide swathes of the area and mop up the survivors with air to ground "shrike" missiles that find the top of a target and then punch through before detonating. Mustelid Bombers can also temporarily become a fortress of ECM that makes them temporarily untargetable.
IconHAF.png
Wolverine Interceptor The airship fleet of the Coalition requires a response, and the Wolverine is that response. The shrike missiles it packs punches into the armour of such heavy airships and seeks out the most vulnerable components they can before detonating, dealing heavy module damage before the craft buzzes the craft with rotary HEAT rounds. The Wolverine can climb up for a "falcon dive" where it uses gravity to assist its movement towards a single target, often bypassing its defenses.
IconHAF.png
Super Adder An extremely agile Iranian designed gunship, the Super Adder's central rotary cannon and its burst rocket pods rip through large numbers of enemy infantry and light targets and rapidly chew through buildings as well. The Super-Adder can also drop off care packages that boost the morale of allies that receive them.
IconHAF.png
Super-Hind Helicopter Gunship An old bird it might be, but the Hind is legendary for a reason. A syrian re-modeling of the hind quipped with an obscenely chain tesla arc gun that leaps around across multiple targets and burst missile pods on its wings, the Super-Hind simply erases large sections of the line that it encounters while being able to carry around a single squad within its hull. The Super-Hind can launch anti-projectile drones to defeat incoming anti-aircraft fire as well.
IconHAF.png
Sokół Cary All Helicopter A modification of the Polish Sokol, the Pact Sokol is able to release electrosphere drones to protect itself and allies from incoming attacks.
IconHAF.png
Backhand Bomber A supersonic bomber with substantial defensive armament that can launch powerful cruise burst missiles from its underbelly to bombard the enemy's positions and tear them open before breaking away to reload, the Backhand can fold its wings to increase its speed drastically at the expense of reduced turning capability.

Buildings

IconHAF.png
Dune Fortress The nerve center of Socialist forces, these fortresses are hastily built in deserts to keep an area under Proleterian Crescent Pact control, housing a platoons of soldiers in the underground sections along with all vehicles dispatched to the area.
IconHAF.png
Steelworks The Bogatyr trucks brings their cargo in at the works, where the ore is processed and then converted to fund the Socialist efforts.
IconHAF.png
Regimental Fighter Port When the aerial support is available to the communist Arabian forces, Regimental Fighter Ports are utilized by the Super Hinds and when the Iranian Air Force arrives, for their MiGs. Soviet Union exported to them their repair drones, assigning one to each airpad for maintenance of helicopters and fighters.
IconHAF.png
Pact Sentry Gun A modified Soviet Sentry Gun that has gotten increased elevation and replaces the twin 14.5mm guns with twin 23mm autocannons and is automated by the same processes that allow Drones to remain automated.
IconHAF.png
Flak Turret A single large 130mm flak gun, the Flak Turret is highly destructive against groups of enemy aircraft and with a high rate of fire thanks to a great autoloading system. The explosive flak shells are particularly deadly against bunched up fixed wing aircraft, though if they need to; they'll load up and fire more solid shells to deal with heavier aircraft
IconHAF.png
Iranian Tesla coil These Tesla coils are of a different make than those used by the standard communist international. Indeed, they can actually lash out thrice every time they fire, or fire much less damaging but vehicle paralyzing bolts to prevent enemies from getting anywhere.
IconHAF.png
Field Gun Emplacement The Socialists are fond of placing a battery of three large 152mm field guns down to secure the area from any rebel attacks. Partially dug in and surrounded by a sand bags with camo netting above, the emplacement is well-protected against enemy fire, if larger than standard defenses, giving it enough time to destroy armored targets from long distances by crushing their armor beneath the weight of their mighty shells, while aircraft can be aimed at by the skilled crew to be blasted with flak shells. Enemy infantry are hardly safe either, as the Socialists added attached machine guns to scythe down approaching infantry.

Proleterian Space Marines Reinforcements

When the rank and file of the Crescent pact are in trouble, the Proleterian Space Marines can dispatch a unit of specialized warriors and vehicles via orbital gravity drops to defend the space grav ferries in western asia or push offensives forward.

IconHAF.png
Particle Gun Comrade Elite power armored soldiers from the Space Marines, the Particle Gun comrade uses a powerful rapid fire proton caster that's quite easy to use with the powered space suit and powerful anti-asteroid demolition charges which can devastate structures and vehicles they can catch, while the proton casters heavily suppresses everything they fire it at.
IconHAF.png
Tesla Immortal Using a more mobile form of battlesuit than the mainstream Tesla Comrade, the Tesla Immortal is perhaps somewhat more fragile than the standard Tesla Comrade, but the Tesla Immortal can give enemies a deadly electro-knuckle sandwich that will instantly kill most infantry and devastate most vehicles and can slam their gauntlets together to create a powerful electric shockwave that is even more effective in an atmosphere.
IconHAF.png
Gravity Astronaut The airborne Gravity Astronauts sail above the skies in their battlesuits firing away with heavy weapons, including a gravity inverter that can send enemy vehicles flying into the air helplessly to be shot down.
IconHAF.png
Multigunner IFV An Iranian concept for a transport, the Multigunner Stryker is a significantly more durable form of IFV than the baseline Comintern IFV and can garrison two infantry; it takes on the weapon of the first squad to garrison it, enhancing it for added firepower while the other squad it carries comes along for the ride. When empty the Multigunner Stryker strikes with particle beam weapons effective against most targets.
IconHAF.png
Observatory Tank The Iranian made Observatory Tank is a fully automated vehicle that is built to survive orbital drops and rated to preform even in hostile environments like other planets. The Observatory Tank packs a particle collider cannon well suited to firing in the vacuum of space and repeater colliders to deal with lighter targets. Immune to mind control and packing enormous firepower, the Observatory Tank also has layered ERA armour that deflects most incoming shots that make it through the electrosphere, and can project the electrosphere at an enemy to trap them in a cage of electricity sure to fry them.
IconHAF.png
Vulture Aerospace Fighter Able to operate in both atmospheres and space due to their collider engines, the Vulture Aerospace Fighter's four wings split to launch attacks with their collider cannons and burst missile launchers, tearing through most craft they encounter. The Vulture can also engage a chrono-jaunt to dodge out of sticky situations.
IconHAF.png
Paradox Starship These mighty spaceships come down from the starfleet to defend the revolution and pack rather similar armament to their counterparts elsewhere, though they use a Tesla ladder cannon instead of twin super-colliders, firing two enormous tesla bolts that will electrocute not only everything they touch but everything between them; in addition to their other armament. The Paradox Starships that sometimes are seen overhead in western Asia eschew the time freeze devices in favour of time reversal devices that repair all allies in a large radius around them.
IconHAF.png
Echoes Starship Enormous spaceships that carry a large number of Berkut, the Lightning II, the Frogfoot, and Fighting Falcon aerospace drones, the Space Marine counterpart of the Echoes Starship replaces the Tesla arc caster with a particle beam weapon that deals more raw up front damage at the expense of the EMP and trades the space manipulation capability for the ability to activate a temporary chrono-device that returns all enemy attacks back to sender.
